Evan Williams put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
