As for Beech, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-15. Seven seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.
For Beech's part, Watson Storey tossed a big game, tossing 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
On the hitting side, Phoenix Thalassenos was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs. Jack Douglass also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
