On Saturday, Hackley came up short against Fordham Prep and fell 61-50.
Fordham Prep had a senior duo take command as Matthew Kapfer dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds and Will Gregory scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Matthew Herlick, who scored eight points along with six assists.
Hackley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fordham Prep, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Hackley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Fordham Prep will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Regis at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
