Lancaster dropped their record down to 13-10 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 7-3 to the Essex Trojans. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Red Devils who fell 3-1 when the teams previously met two weeks ago.

As for Essex, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games.

For Essex's part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Byrd, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and one RBI. That's the most hits Byrd has posted since back in March. Keion Hence was another, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

As of now, neither Lancaster nor Essex have any future games scheduled.
