Even though they lost, Ridgeland-Hardeeville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
It was another big night for Kavon Chisolm, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks for Hampton County. Chisolm is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ja'mere Martin, who scored 11 points.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hampton County, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Woodland the next time they take the court. Hampton County will host Woodland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Ridgeland-Hardeeville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
