Korey Thomas and Dalton Rowe provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Jefferson Davis Academy. The connection went for 61 yards, the longest such play in Freelance this season.
Pee Dee Academy took down the Raiders 56-24 last week, the largest margin of any game. Chandler Tisdale ran for 190 yards during the win.
The Eagles' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Thomas threw for 140 yards and Rowe had 61 yards receiving. On the ground Tisdale chipped in 190 yards. Clay Martin helped Pee Dee Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 44 yards.
Tisdale provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Pee Dee Academy beat Jefferson Davis Academy.
Issac Stone made the biggest impact on defense this week as Christian Academy fell to Richard Winn Academy. The 5-foot-11 sophomore.
Rowe was the best wideout in the league this week as Splinter Spivey's team topped Curt Ott's team. Martin helped Pee Dee Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 44 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Thomas and Tisdale, the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Thomas leads the league in passing with 536 yards, while Tisdale has rushed for 807 yards this season. The Saints' Austin Guyton leads the league in receiving yards with 221 on 10 catches.
Camden Military made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,244 from 14,353.
