Clinton Christian Academy posted their biggest win since November 28, 2023 on Tuesday. They blew past Varsity Opponent, posting a 55-25 victory on the road.
It was another big night for Clara Hyke, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Carissa Compton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Christian Learning Center got the win against Plaza Heights Christian Academy back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 55-33. With Christian Learning Center ahead 31-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Rylie Allen was her usual excellent self, scoring 13 points along with seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Bean, who scored six points along with 15 rebounds and two steals.
Clinton Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Christian Learning Center, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Thursday's match: Clinton Christian Academy have been dynamite from deep this season, having only made 34.7% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Christian Learning Center, though, as they've only made 32.6% of their threes per game this season. Given Clinton Christian Academy's sizeable advantage in that area, Christian Learning Center will need to find a way to close that gap.
