The Germantown Red Devils won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-29 walloping at the hands of Arlington. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Germantown in their matchups with Arlington: they've now lost nine in a row.
Arlington found their leader in underclassman Zaria Moss, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Taylor Miller, who scored nine points along with six assists and two steals.
Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Arlington, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Germantown will take on Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arlington, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cordova at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Arlington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
