In what's become a running theme this season, the Yuma Catholic Shamrocks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Saturday. They really took it to Tonopah Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-14 victory on the road. With Yuma Catholic ahead 37-6 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Amanda Wiley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. Wiley is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Sadie Estes was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Yuma Catholic and bumps their season record up to 11-8. As for Tonopah Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Yuma Catholic will be playing at home against Parker at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tonopah Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Kingman at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
