4A SPSL - South recap Nov. 7, 2012
Puyallup moved up to 118 from 148 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 4A SPSL - South. The Vikings were able to make move up by losing to Skyline 59-17.
Federal Way extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Issaquah, 24-14. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Eagles.
Puyallup's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Vikings feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brendan Illies has thrown for 2775 yards and 31 touchdowns this season, while Levi Jordan has 47 catches for 690 yards. Trevor Whitney leads the league in rushing with 599 yards.
A big matchup in 4A SPSL - South this week will be when Rogers takes on Federal Way. As it stands, the Rams are in fourth, while John Meagher's team is in first.
