Plainfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came out on top against the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots by a score of 61-48. For the Quakers, this counts as revenge for the 46-44 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Plainfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Gilliatt, who went 7 for 11 to rack up 18 points and seven assists. Noah Smith was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Despite the loss, Terre Haute North Vigo still got an impressive performance from Bryce Renn, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. That's the most points Renn has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brady Klopfenstein, who went 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points.

Plainfield's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points over those games. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.

Plainfield has already played their next contest, a 68-60 defeat against Center Grove on the 8th. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-43 win against Decatur Central on the 8th.
