The Northland Lutheran Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 33 points or more this season. They breezed by Marion at home to the tune of 49-13. The victory was just what Northland Lutheran needed coming off of a 66-22 defeat in their prior contest.
Josslin Adams continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring nine points along with 11 rebounds and eight steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Rachel Schmidt, who scored eight points.
Northland Lutheran's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. As for Marion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Northland Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Port Edwards at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Port Edwards is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Marion will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Elcho at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
