The Great Bend Panthers won the last time they faced the Conway Springs Cardinals, and things went their way on Thursday too. Great Bend came out on top against Conway Springs by a score of 42-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Great Bend.
Conway Springs' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macie Hartman, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Melissa Ebenkamp, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Great Bend's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Conway Springs, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Great Bend will head out on the road to face off against Kingman on Friday. Conway Springs will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Haven at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th.
