Potlatch is 7-2 against the Tigers since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Potlatch Loggers will head out on the road to challenge the Kendrick Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Potlatch is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Potlatch was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 47-46 to the Kubs.
Meanwhile, Kendrick waltzed into their matchup on Friday with seven straight wins but they left with eight. They breezed by Grangeville at home to the tune of 85-43. Kendrick has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 36 points or more this season.
Kendrick found their leader in underclassman Nathan Tweit, who scored 23 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ralli Roetcisoender, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Potlatch's loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-2. As for Kendrick, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.
Potlatch was able to grind out a solid victory over the Tigers in their previous meeting back in January, winning 67-59. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Kendrick's Ty Koepp, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Potlatch still be able to contain Koepp? There's only one way to find out.
