After a string of six wins, the Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 52-44 to Don Soffer Aventura. Sheridan Hills Christian has not had much luck with Don Soffer Aventura recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Several Sharks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Smith, who scored 14 points along with three steals and two blocks. AJ Seay was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six steals.
Among those leading the charge was Nimrod Amiel Eilon, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Amiel Eilon, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Sheridan Hills Christian's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Don Soffer Aventura, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Sheridan Hills Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Franklin Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Don Soffer Aventura, they will head out on the road to face off against LaSalle at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LaSalle is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
