Central City Value is 8-2 against Annenberg since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Central City Value Jaguars will be playing at home against the Annenberg Panthers at 3:30 p.m. Hopefully Central City Value focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
Central City Value's recent rough patch got a bit rougher after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 72-47 walloping at the hands of Downtown Magnets. Central City Value has not had much luck with Downtown Magnets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Leonel Chavez, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Andy Lobos, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Annenberg scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They walked away with a 47-40 win over Animo Bunche. The victory was some much needed relief for Annenberg as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Central City Value has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Annenberg, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.
Central City Value strolled past Annenberg in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 41-27. Will Central City Value repeat their success, or does Annenberg have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
