The Evans Knights's three-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They walked away with a 44-32 victory over Hephzibah. For Evans, this counts as revenge for the 62-26 loss Hephzibah walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Evans' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harmony Skinner, who scored 5 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Skinner hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Serenity Campos was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Evans' win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Hephzibah, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Evans will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. As for Hephzibah, they will head out on the road to face off against Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
