The Flushing Raiders are taking a road trip to  challenge the Brandon Blackhawks  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Brandon took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Flushing, who comes in off a win.
Flushing will roll into the  game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 12  points  last Friday, then bounced right back against Swartz Creek  on Friday. The Raiders walked away with  a   40-28  win over the Dragons. The  victory continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Dragons: they've now won three in a row.
Meanwhile,  after a string of three wins, Brandon's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They fell  34-22 to Owosso.
 Flushing will have to contain  Demetri McNeir as he made an impact in Brandon's last game. He picked up 77 receiving yards and one  score. That  receiving touchdown was  McNeir's first of the season.  Luke Hanson handled things on the ground, rushing for 94 yards.
 Flushing's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Brandon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Flushing was able to grind out a solid  victory over Brandon in their previous matchup  back in October of 2021, winning  42-35. Will the Raiders repeat their success,  or do  the Blackhawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
