While Perry put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Chisholm. The Maroons put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Maroons, who have now won nine matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Perry's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Chisholm, they moved to 10-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Perry will face off against Newkirk at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chisholm, they are taking a road trip to challenge Blackwell at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
