The Liberty Christian Academy Eagles lost against Christian Fellowship back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Liberty Christian Academy was dealt a 60-30 defeat at the hands of Christian Fellowship. It was the first time this season that Liberty Christian Academy let down their fans at home.
Christian Fellowship was led to victory by Ariya Barton and Brooke Grathwohl. Barton scored 16 points along with seven assists and six rebounds, while Grathwohl scored 27 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grathwohl has scored at least 25% of Christian Fellowship's points. Another player making a difference was Emma Kate Bradley, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Liberty Christian Academy has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Christian Fellowship, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.
Liberty Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Crosspoint Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christian Fellowship, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunnydale Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnydale Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
