The Boynton Beach Tigers and the Stranahan Mighty Dragons squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Boynton Beach Tigers had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Mighty Dragons on the road and fell 69-30. Boynton Beach just can't catch a break and has now endured ten defeats in a row.
Stranahan found their leader in underclassman David Nealy, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Christian Yeargin, who scored 13 points.
Boynton Beach's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Stranahan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.
Boynton Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Stranahan, they will take on American Heritage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Stranahan is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than American Heritage in Florida (Stranahan is ranked 41st, while American Heritage is ranked 348th).
