The Walnut Grove Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Centennial Titans at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many goals in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Walnut Grove has not lost a match since January 6th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They and Memorial finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.
Walnut Grove's goal came courtesy of
Ryan Anderson, who's now up to seven this season.
Meanwhile, Centennial fell victim to Heritage's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell just short of the Coyotes by a score of 1-0. The loss put an end to Centennial's undefeated start to the season.
With that draw, Walnut Grove's record moves to 8-1-3. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-1-2.
