A Season-Best Performance from Jorge Luna Leads United over Medina Valley
United was led to victory by Jorge Luna, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Luna threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
The win was the third in a row for United, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Luna and United will head out on the road to face off against Eagle Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

The victory got Alexander back to even at 4-4. They and Laredo LBJ will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Xavier Gonzalez Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Thursday, Medina Valley had to settle for second even though Xavier Gonzalez put up the best numbers he has all season. Gonzalez rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
With the loss, Medina Valley broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4. Gonzalez and Medina Valley will look to defend their home field on Friday against United South at 7:00 p.m.
