The NorthWood Panthers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They took down Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger 48-34. That result was just more of the same for these two, as NorthWood also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
NorthWood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joselyn Edwards, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Megan Yoder, who scored four points along with six assists and five steals.
NorthWood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NorthWood will take on Glenn at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenn is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, they will be playing at home against Carroll at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
