It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rocksprings had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-8 victory over Woodsboro on the road. Rocksprings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five matches by 23 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Falls City never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Iola, posting a 35-0 victory on the road. Falls City might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 28 points or more this season.
Falls City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braylon Johnson, who rushed for 199 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Johnson hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Moy, who rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Their wins bumped Rocksprings to 7-2 and Falls City to 8-3.
