The Orange Panthers came tearing into Friday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let Santa Ana onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Orange also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
It was another big night for Ardwon Morris, who rushed for 361 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. Morris has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last nine times he's played.
Orange is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Santa Ana, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 7-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orange will take on Diamond Bar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Diamond Bar is on a three-game streak of home wins, Orange a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. As for Santa Ana, they will head out on the road to face off against Santa Monica at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Santa Monica is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
