Reed has gone 8-2 against Bishop Manogue recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Raiders will square off against the Miners at 4:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Reed is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Carson as they made off with a 12-1 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three contests in a row.

Hayley Noble made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off nine hits (and only one walk). Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Krystyn Noble, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most home runs she has posted since back in March. Kehaulani Tambaoan was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Reed lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carson didn't launched any home runs.
Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue faced McQueen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Miners put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 9-3 win.
Sammi Boggs spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Averie Stephan and Kiki Harris did most of the damage at the plate: Stephan went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double, while Harris went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Lo Faust, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Reed pushed their record up to 26-5-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Bishop Manogue, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9-1 record this season.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Reed hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bishop Manogue struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.2 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Reed suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Bishop Manogue in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
