 It was another big night for  Antonio Kellogg Jr, who  went 7 for 13  on his way to 24  points. His evening made it three games in a row in which  he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Machai Alston, who  posted nine  points and five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Hayward had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They pulled ahead with  a  72-71 photo finish over the Gauchos.
 Hayward's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 70.0 points per game. As for Ygnacio Valley, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record  this season.
