The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves managed to keep up with the Eastern Alamance Eagles until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cedar Ridge took a serious blow against Eastern Alamance, falling 70-42. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cedar Ridge in their matchups with Eastern Alamance: they've now lost six in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Eastern Alamance to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ja'vier Tinnin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. Michael Reaves was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with five steals.
Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Eastern Alamance, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Cedar Ridge will head out on the road to face off against Williams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant forwards against one another: Milton Turner and Harrison Perel. As for Eastern Alamance, they will be playing at home against Seaforth at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Seaforth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while Eastern Alamance is ranked 167th).
