Gresch Jensen threw for 263 and 3 touchdowns and Joey Cassano had 169 yards receiving. On the ground Jensen chipped in 60 yards. Ray Hardaway helped Auburn Mountainview's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 39 yards.
Ryan Pitt was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Lions lost to Battle Ground. The 6-foot-1 junior.
He was 19-40 with 2 interceptions.
Jensen was the best running back in 3A South Puget Sound this week. He ran for 60 yards on 14 carries as Auburn Mountainview fell to the Tigers. Hardaway also contributed to the rushing game with 56 yards on the ground.
Jared Gervis' team's Jensen and Cassano led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Jensen has thrown for 839 yards this season, while Cassano, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 30 catches for 439 yards. Cameron Strecker from Enumclaw leads the league in rushing with 303 yards.
The Lions' offense has racked up 104 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Hornets have allowed only 104 on the year.
