Silver led 3A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Socorro.
The Fighting Colts made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,499 from 4,577. The improvement came about via a 42-14 victory over the Warriors last week.
Socorro's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tyler Crespin has thrown for 340 yards this season, while Adam Paz has 23 catches for 479 yards. Zeb Esquivel leads the league in rushing with 913 yards.
Esquivel of the Socorro is only 87 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hot Springs takes on Silver. At the moment, the Tigers are in third, while Butch Branson's team is in first.
