The Evans Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against South Effingham, falling 70-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Evans has suffered yet this season.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Kayla Bennett and
Makya Wicker, who each put up five points.
Briyanna Jones held things down on the boards with 11 rebounds.
Evans has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for South Effingham, their win bumped their record up to 5-11.
