Granville Central fell to Roanoke Rapids 0-46 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Granville Central took their contest against Roanoke Rapids on Friday 31-22.
Granville Central's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 24 points in the first half. Roanoke Rapids came up with 9 to make it 24-9 heading into the break. Granville Central were outperformed in the second half 7-13 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 3-0. The loss dropped Roanoke Rapids back to even at 2-2.
Next week Granville Central take on Columbia at 7:00 PM. As for Roanoke Rapids, they will face off against TBA.
