They had to suffer through a rough 66-0 loss at the hands of Albany. While losing is never fun, Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1176th, while Albany is ranked 196th).
Adam Hill was his usual excellent self, rushing for 98 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown. Hill has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chip Chambers, who threw for 145 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 passes.
Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene's loss was their third straight at home , which bumped their record down to 1-9. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 7-2 Lockney (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.6% over those games). As for Albany, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
