Sadly, the Harvard Cardinals are still looking for their first win of the season after 19 matches. They had to suffer through a rough 71-24 loss at the hands of Shelton. Harvard has not had much luck with Shelton recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Despite the loss, Harvard still got an impressive performance from Taylor Braun, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Harvard's defeat was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.4 points per game. As for Shelton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Harvard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelton, they will take on Wilcox-Hildreth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shelton will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Wilcox-Hildreth surely won't give up without a fight.
