Riverdale is on a five-game streak of home losses, John Ehret a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Riverdale Rebels will take on the John Ehret Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Riverdale lost to Frederick A. Douglass at home by a decisive 62-48 margin.
Meanwhile, John Ehret strolled past Livingston Collegiate Academy with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 55-41.
John Ehret had a senior duo take command as Ashton Rabathaly scored nine points along with three steals and Chase Jones scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of frederick moffett, who scored seven points.
Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for John Ehret, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
Riverdale might still be hurting after the 91-70 defeat they got from John Ehret in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Thankfully for Riverdale, John Kelly (who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 23 rebounds, and ten assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
