Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Durand-Arkansaw came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Spring Valley, but Kemri Schlegel wouldn't allow it. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Schlegel, who had 14 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Spring Valley never let Durand-Arkansaw on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14, 25-22.

Spring Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Durand-Arkansaw, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spring Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Glenwood City at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Durand-Arkansaw will take on rival Chetek-Weyerhaeuser at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
