MacArthur hasn't had much luck against Springfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. MacArthur will be playing in front of their home fans against Springfield at 4:30 p.m. MacArthur will be strutting in after a victory while Springfield will be coming in after a defeat.
MacArthur barely beat Lanphier the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. MacArthur was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Lanphier on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Aidan Bruce made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Luke Karunas and Zion Bradford did most of the damage at the plate: Karunas got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four RBI and one double, while Bradford scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, Bradford posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Landen Patrick was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
MacArthur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lanphier only posted an OBP of .300.
Meanwhile, Springfield came up short against Dunlap on Monday and fell 5-1. The Senators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Springfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arthur Davison, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
MacArthur's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
