Vincennes Lincoln came out on top against Bloomfield on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Alices walked away with a 7-3 win over the Cardinals. The victory was familiar territory for the Alices, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Bradie Turpin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emma Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Hagood, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Vincennes Lincoln's record now sits at 9-7. As for Bloomfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Coming up, Vincennes Lincoln will face off against North Posey at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Alices surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bloomfield, they will take on South Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
