The Fort Bragg Timberwolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity. Fort Bragg lost against Trinity in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 55-19 score last time.
Trinity found their leader in underclassman Carver Dresselhaus, who scored 33 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Those 33 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Luka Robles, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.
Fort Bragg has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Trinity, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
Fort Bragg will be playing at home against Novato on Tuesday. Trinity and Clear Lake will face off at 2:00 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
