Henley is a perfect 10-0 against Mazama since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hornets will challenge the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Henley is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
Henley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against North Marion as they made off with a 7-0 win. Considering the Hornets have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Corbin Hamilton, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep North Marion off the board. Hamilton has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Mark Carpenter was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Henley is undefeated when Carpenter posts two or more runs, but 1-2-1 otherwise. Jacoby Tacchini was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two RBI.
Carpenter wasn't the only one making solid contact: Henley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in nine consecutive games dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Mazama came up short against Klamath Union on Friday and fell 8-5. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Deshawn Carter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Henley's victory bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for Mazama, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
Mazama's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Henley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .360. It's a different story for Mazama, though, as they've only averaged .161. Will they be able to contain Henley's hitters?
Henley took their win against Mazama in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-1 score. Will the Hornets repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
