It was fun while it lasted, but Homestead's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Tuesday. They lost 18-8 to TERRA Environmental. The loss was the Broncos' first of the season.

Audrina Thomason made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-3. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Breah Pruitt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Homestead fell to 5-1. As for TERRA Environmental, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homestead will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Dade at 6:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for TERRA Environmental, they will venture away from home to square off against Coral Gables at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. TERRA Environmental knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Coral Gables likes a good challenge.
