Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jumarie Hill, who scored 12 points along with nine rebounds. Nasire Jones was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds.
East Laurens' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rashund Washington Jr., who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Keynon Williams, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
West Laurens' loss was their seventh straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for East Laurens, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Bleckley County is ranked 119th, while East Laurens is ranked 111th).
