Meanwhile, Grantsville posted their closest victory since January 5th on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against South Summit and snuck past 56-53. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Grantsville as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Grantsville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Powell, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Decker Dzierzon, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Ben Lomond's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Grantsville, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Ben Lomond have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 24.5 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Grantsville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.1 rebounds per game.
