Baseball Recap: Wells Beats Fryeburg for Their Third Straight Win

Wells had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Fryeburg Raiders. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Raiders on May 8th, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

Wells' victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Moody, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

The win got Wells back to even at 7-7. As for Fryeburg, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

Wells wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-2 loss against Greely on the 30th. Fryeburg has also already played their next contest (against Lake Region), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
