Snohomish have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They will take on Meadowdale at 8:00 PM. Snohomish don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Snohomish might be getting used to good results now that the squad has five wins in a row. They put a hurting on Lynnwood to the tune of 62-7. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-7.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Everett two weeks ago, Meadowdale came back down to earth. Meadowdale have to be aching after a bruising 24-54 defeat to Shorecrest last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Meadowdale a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Snohomish's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Meadowdale's loss dropped them down to 3-4. We'll see if Snohomish's success rolls on or if Meadowdale are able to steal their positive momentum.
