You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for the Rock Bridge Bruins on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 93-54 win over the Northeast Vikings at home. That looming 39-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Rock Bridge yet this season.
The Bruins' offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 43 first-half points. Northeast countered with 29 points, leaving the score at 43-29 going into the half. The offense for the Bruins continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 50 points to put the game away.
The victory was the 14th in a row for Rock Bridge and raised their record to 17-3. Northeast's defeat pushed them down to 2-8.
Rock Bridge has the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome East on Friday. Northeast is on the road again on Friday and plays against Central. The Vikings fans better hope the squad plays one heck of a game as the odds are decidedly against them.
