Colony is a perfect 6-0 against Homer since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights will welcome the Mariners at 3:00 p.m. Colony is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Colony is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alaska's top teams: West Valley, who was ranked 12th at the time (Colony was ranked fifth). The Knights never let the Wolf Pack get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for Colony, who have now won three games in a row.

They hit West Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alessandra Alberton, Avrie Geigerich, and Asha Gerteisen.

Meanwhile, Homer had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Neither they nor Grace Christian could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result was nothing new for Homer as the team haven't won a game since April 25th.

Colony pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. Homer's draw makes their record 2-6-1 this season.

Everything went Colony's way against Homer in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Colony made off with an 8-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Mariners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
