It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Grantsville had no problem doing just that  on Friday. They really took it to the Ogden Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up  a  30-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Cowboys sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
  Jayden Atkinson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 41 receiving yards. He has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  rushing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.  Dallan Van Vliet was another key player, throwing for 188 yards and two touchdowns.
 Ogden's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Jack Thompson, who picked up 144 receiving yards, and  Vinscent Apodaca, who threw for 162 yards  on 12 of 36 attempts. Ogden is 7-1 when  Thompson posts 80 or  more  receiving yards, but 0-3 otherwise.
 Grantsville's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.3 points per game. As for Ogden, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
 Grantsville has already played their next contest,  a  59-16  loss against Richfield on the 8th. Ogden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
