Nuiqsut Trapper played a tough  match  on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost  54-31 to the Alak Huskies. The Trappers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Huskies earlier this season, when they won  40-30.
 Alak found their leader in freshman  Korey Ekak, who  posted 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Ekak has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Benjamin Tagarook Jr., who  scored seven  points.
Nuiqsut Trapper's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Alak, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.
As of now, neither Nuiqsut Trapper nor Alak have any future games scheduled.
